A Florida legal malpractice claim must be filed within 2 years after the client discovered, or should have discovered, the malpractice.

Stolen client funds	The Florida Bar's Clients' Security Fund may reimburse money a lawyer misappropriated, up to $250,000 per claim, or up to $5,000 for a fee claim (Rules 7-1.1 and 7-2.3)
Fund deadline	A claim must be filed within 3 years after the disciplinary action against the lawyer becomes final (Rule 7-2.4(c))
